Coaches Game Summary
A rough day for the Spartans... Centerfielder and Shortstop luxuriating in Hawaii... Old Lady Rich with a bad leg, only 7 hits (I guess the bats were aching as well)7 errors in the field to go with 6 Homestead hits, including a game ending two-run bomb over the center field fence (not as pretty as Serena's at Lynnbrook, but it would do...). Admirable efforts by Sophie, who lost her catcher midway through the contest, and Michelle, who stepped up and filled in for Sarah and DID A GREAT JOB BEHIND THE PLATE. Non League game - a learning experience - a way to get ready for Gunn: a game where we will have only 9 players total.
