California High School Lacrosse - El Toro drops to Esperanza
March 25, 2021: Anaheim, CA 92807 Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA), 12-8 in a non-league test.
The Aztecs now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Canyon for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 6. Esperanza will face a Comanches squad coming off a 17-11 non-league win over Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA). The Comanches record now stands at 3-2.
In their next game, the Chargers face the Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 31. El Toro will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 17-2 league win over Valencia (Placentia, CA).
