Mississippi High School Softball - Lafayette loses to Tupelo
March 25, 2021: Oxford, MS 38655 The Tupelo Golden Wave softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Lafayette Commodores to 2 in the Golden Wave non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Tupelo moves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Golden Wave host Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS) to clash with the Conquistadors in a 6A Region 1 game on Tuesday, March 30. The Conquistadors come into the game with a record of 1-4. Olive Branch won 15-6 in their recent non-league game against Southaven (Southaven, MS)
In their next game, the Commodores clash with the New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 29. Lafayette will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 3-11 record after their 6-5 league loss to Ripley (Ripley, MS).
