The Alcorn Central Bears baseball team (Glen, MS), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Water Valley Blue Devils (Water Valley, MS)

The Blue Devils now hold a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Senatobia for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 26. Water Valley will confront a Warriors team coming off a 16-4 league win over Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 8-4.

Next, the Bears confront the McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 29. Alcorn Central will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record.
