Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Skyline Coyotes (Mesa, AZ) and the visiting Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ), saw Skyline's baseball squad edge Gila Ridge by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Coyotes play the Dobson Mustangs (Mesa, AZ) in a 6A East Valley battle, on Tuesday, March 28. Skyline will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to North (Phoenix, AZ).

The Hawks now possess a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yuma for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 29. Gila Ridge will play a Criminals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ). The Criminals record now stands at 8-7.
