California High School Softball - Centennial holds off Woodbridge
March 25, 2023: Irvine, CA 92604 Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Big VIII challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Centennial will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Woodbridge moves to 4-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to University (Irvine, CA) to face the Trojans in a Pacific Coast match on Tuesday, March 28. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 0-4. University lost 27-0 in their recent league match against Beckman (Irvine, CA)
