Pennsylvania High School Softball - Chestnut Ridge loses to Staunton River
March 25, 2023: New Paris, PA 15554 The Staunton River Golden Eagles softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Chestnut Ridge Lions to 5 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Staunton River improves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Patrick County (Stuart, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Saturday, March 25. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 3-1. Patrick County won 8-2 in their recent non-league game against Dan River (Ringgold, VA)
In their next game, the Lions clash with the Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 1 game, on Tuesday, March 28. Chestnut Ridge will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Red Devils come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Homer-Center (Homer City, PA).
