Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sweet Water Bulldogs (Sweet Water, AL), 12-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Ariton upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Purple Cats host Calera (Calera, AL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 26. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 12-7. Calera lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL)

With the defeat, Sweet Water falls to 12-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Westview (Martin, TN) to battle the Chargers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 26. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 6-3. Westview lost 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Graves County (Mayfield, KY)
