In Monday's non-league outing, the host University Prep Jaguars softball team scored a nice 18-0 win over the Boron Bobcats.

Coming up next, the Jaguars encounter the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA) in a Cross Valley outing, on Wednesday, April 3. University Prep will attempt to improve on its 17-2 season record.

The Bobcats (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA). The Broncs enter the High Desert outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Kern Valley prevailed over Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA), 20-3, in a league outing.
