Kentucky High School Softball - Harrison County bounces Bourbon County
March 25, 2024: Cynthiana, KY 41031 Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Thorobreds now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lexington Catholic for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Harrison County will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Knights record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Bourbon County falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY) to face the Indians in a District 40 challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Montgomery County won 7-0 in their recent league challenge against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY)
