Alabama High School Softball - Tharptown holds off Falkville
March 25, 2024: Russellville, AL 35654 Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Falkville Blue Devils (Falkville, AL), 9-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Bay for a 2A Area 13 challenge on Monday, March 25.
With the loss, Falkville falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 8-7. Decatur Heritage Christian Academy lost 10-7 in their recent league challenge against Addison (Addison, AL)
