Kentucky High School Softball - Lewis County bounces Nicholas County
March 25, 2024: Vanceburg, KY 41179 The Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) softball routed the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), 15-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears go into the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Bracken County toppled Conner (Hebron, KY), 14-5, in a non-league bout.
The Bluejackets now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Robertson County for a District 38 bout on Wednesday, March 27. Nicholas County will confront a Black Devils squad coming off a 25-24 non-league win over Augusta (Augusta, KY). The Black Devils record now stands at 1-4.
