The Limestone Rockets baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts to 4 in the Rockets non-league win on Tuesday.

The Rockets now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Nazareth Academy for a non-league test on Friday, March 28. Limestone will clash with a Roadrunners team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 6-0.

With the defeat, Illinois Valley Central drops to 2-2 on the year. The Grey ghosts travel to Streator (Streator, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 1-2. Streator lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL)
