The Leechburg Blue Devils (Leechburg, PA) baseball trounced the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA), 18-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Western Beaver for a WPIAL 1A 2 challenge on Monday, March 31. Leechburg will clash with a Golden Beavers team coming off a 12-10 non-league win over Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA). The Golden Beavers record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Union Area drops to 0-3 on the year. The Scotties travel to St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA) to clash with the Spartans in a WPIAL 1A 2 challenge on Monday, March 31.
