March 25, 2025: Plainfield, IL 60544 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) and the visiting Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL), saw Plainfield Central's baseball team get by Riverside-Brookfield by a tally of 1-0.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Glenbard South was tipped by Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 26. Riverside-Brookfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 12-6 non-league loss to Reavis (Burbank, IL).
