Georgia High School Soccer - Pinecrest Academy knocks off Athens Academy
March 25, 2025: Cumming, GA 30041 The Pinecrest Academy Paladins (Cumming, GA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA), 7-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Paladins now hold a 12-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. John Bosco Academy for a GAPPS I-AA Sectional 1 challenge on Thursday, March 27. Pinecrest Academy will encounter a squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Johnson Ferry Christian Academy (Marietta, GA). The record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Athens Academy moves to 6-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA) to encounter the Storm in a 1A D-I Region 8 challenge on Thursday, March 27. The Storm go into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Providence Christian Academy lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA)
