South Carolina High School Lacrosse - May River Calvary Day
March 25, 2025: Bluffton, SC 2991 The May River Sharks lacrosse squad scored 7 points and limited the visiting Calvary Day Cavaliers to 5 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sharks now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop England for a 4A-1A Lower challenge on Thursday, March 27. May River will clash with a Battling Bishops squad coming off a 15-2 league win over Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Battling Bishops record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Calvary Day falls to 5-3 on the year. The Cavaliers host Effingham County (Springfield, GA) to clash with the Rebels in a 2A Area 4 challenge on Friday, March 28. The Rebels go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Effingham County lost 19-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeside (Evans, GA)
