March 25, 2025: Xenia, OH 45385 Xenia Buccaneers (Xenia, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the visiting Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH), 13-6 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Xenia advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Buccaneers host Licking Valley (Newark, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 29. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 0-1. Licking Valley lost 14-6 in their recent non-league game against Newark (Newark, OH)
The Hornets now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edgewood for a non-league game on Thursday, March 27. Monroe will play a Cougars team coming off a 16-6 league loss to La Salle (Cincinnati, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
