In Tuesday's league test, the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC), by a tally of 14-4.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Cary Imps (Cary, NC) in a Southwest Wake 4A test, on Thursday, March 27. Apex Friendship will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Imps go into the test with a 1-8 record after their 18-2 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC).

The Catamounts (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks go into the Southwest Wake 4A test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Holly Springs prevailed over Cary (Cary, NC), 18-2, in a league test.
