Virginia High School Softball - Madison County succumbs to Fluvanna County
March 25, 2025: Palmyra, VA 22963 In Tuesday's non-league test, the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA), by a tally of 10-0.
Next, the Flying Flucos meet the Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Tuesday, April 8. Fluvanna County will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Black Knights go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Liberty (Bealeton, VA).
The Mountaineers (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Orange County was routed by Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA), 4-2, in a non-league test.
