Louisiana High School Softball - L.W. Higgins drops to Willow
March 25, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70115 Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA), 20-10 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Willow improves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league game on Thursday, March 27. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 7-6. Belle Chasse won 9-5 in their recent league game against Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA)
The Hurricanes now hold a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Livingston Collegiate Academy for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26. L.W. Higgins will play a Wolves squad coming off a 19-5 league loss to Landry (New Orleans, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-4.
