California High School Softball - South bounces Peninsula
March 26, 2021: Torrance, CA 90505 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) and the visiting Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), saw South's softball squad achieve victory over Peninsula by a count of 11-0.
The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host La Mirada for a non-league match on Saturday, March 27. South will face a Matadores squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Matadores record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Peninsula falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA) to face the Saints in a non-league match on Saturday, March 27. The Saints enter the match with a record of 1-1. St. Anthony lost 7-1 in their recent non-league match against Villa Park (Villa Park, CA)
