Fredericksburg Billies (Fredericksburg, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), 9-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fredericksburg upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Billies host Davenport (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Wolves in a 4A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, March 29. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 5-6.

With the defeat, Uvalde falls to 7-8 on the season. The Coyotes/lobos (for girls) host Carrizo Springs (Carrizo Springs, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 29. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-5. Carrizo Springs lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Devine (Devine, TX)
