Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) and the visiting Sunny Hills Lancers (Fullerton, CA), saw South Hills's baseball squad knock off Sunny Hills by a count of 7-1.

Coming up next, the Huskies play the Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA) in a Hacienda battle, on Tuesday, March 29. South Hills will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 13-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Rowland (Rowland Heights, CA).

The Lancers now possess a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Habra for a Freeway battle on Wednesday, March 30. Sunny Hills will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Highlanders record now stands at 9-9.
