California High School Softball - Woodbridge bounces King
March 26, 2022: Irvine, CA 92604 Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting King Wolves (Riverside, CA), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host Beckman for a Pacific Coast challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Woodbridge will face a Patriots squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 10-4.
With the loss, King falls to 9-9 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to face the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 26. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 10-6. JSerra Catholic lost 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA)
