In Sunday's non-league game, the visiting La Salle College Explorers baseball team scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds.

The Explorers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA). The Lions go into the Philadelphia Catholic game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Cardinal O'Hara by Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA), 8-7, in a non-league game.

The Firebirds (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA). The Crusaders go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Father Judge tipped Mars (Mars, PA), 6-1, in a non-league game.
