The DeMatha Stags baseball team (Hyattsville, MD), was overwhelmed 7-3 in Tuesday's league outing with the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA)

The Knights now hold a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 28. Bishop O'Connell will confront a Wolves team coming off a 15-5 league loss to St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Wolves record now stands at 0-4.

Next, the Stags confront the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) in a Washington Catholic outing, on Wednesday, March 27. DeMatha will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Cadets go into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 1-0 league win over Gonzaga (Washington, DC).
