Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA), 15-0 in a league test.

With the win, Blacklick Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Vikings host Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA) to battle the Rams in a Western Pennsylvania test on Wednesday, March 27. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-2. Turkeyfoot Valley Area lost 26-1 in their recent non-league test against Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD)

With the defeat, Ferndale falls to 0-2 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Harmony Area (Westover, PA) to battle the Owls in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 27.
