In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Gaston Greyhounds baseball team scored a tight 11-5 victory over the Santiam Wolverines.
The Greyhounds (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Willamina (Willamina, OR). The Bulldogs go into the 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 game with a 1-2 record.
The Wolverines (4-4) will now prepare for their game against East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR). The Eagles go into the 2A/1A-SD3 Special District 3 game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, East Linn Christian Academy tipped Salem Academy (Salem, OR), 21-7, in a league game.
