The Apex Friendship Patriots baseball team (Apex, NC), was overwhelmed 9-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC)

The Wolverines now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Wake Forest for a non-league outing on Monday, April 1. Wakefield will face a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.

Next, the Patriots face the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 2. Apex Friendship will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record.
