North Carolina High School Softball - East Wilkes bounces North Stokes
March 26, 2024: Danbury, NC 27016 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) and the host North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), witnessed East Wilkes's softball squad prevail over North Stokes by a count of 15-3.
The Cardinals now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host West Forsyth for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 10. East Wilkes will meet a Titans squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Titans record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, North Stokes moves to 1-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Starmount (Boonville, NC) to meet the Rams in a non-league match on Friday, March 29. The Rams go into the match with a record of 2-1. Starmount won 9-2 in their recent non-league match against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)
