Louisiana High School Softball - Ascension Catholic nudges St. John
March 26, 2024: Plaquemine, LA 70764 Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA), 6-5 in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 13-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albany for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27.
With the loss, St. John falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to White Castle (White Castle, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A District 8 challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 3-5.
