The French Settlement Lions softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Springfield Bulldogs to 4 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, French Settlement improves its record to 8-9 on the year. The Lions travel to Independence (Independence, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A District 7 game on Thursday, March 28. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 3-9.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) in a 2A District 7 game, on Thursday, March 28. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record.
