The South Umpqua Lancers routed the visiting Henley Hornets softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Lancers (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeview (Lakeview, OR). The Honkers go into the 3A-SD3 Special District 3 battle with a 1-2 record.

The Hornets now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle Point for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 26. Henley will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Central (Independence, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
