The Delone Catholic Squires (McSherrystown, PA) baseball got by the visiting Fairfield Knights (Fairfield, PA), 9-8 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Squires now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host James Buchanan for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28. Delone Catholic will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 2-0 league win over Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Fairfield drops to 1-3 on the year. The Knights host Littlestown (Littlestown, PA) to clash with the Thunderbolts in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. The Thunderbolts go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Littlestown lost 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against New Oxford (New Oxford, PA)
