March 26, 2025: Haughton, LA 71037 The Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Doyline Panthers (Doyline, LA), 13-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Buccaneers now own a 20-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Captain Shreve for a 5A District 1 challenge on Thursday, March 27. Haughton will clash with a Gators team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA). The Gators record now stands at 15-10.
With the defeat, Doyline drops to 6-9 on the year. The Panthers travel to Southwood (Shreveport, LA) to clash with the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. The Cowboys go into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Southwood won 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Booker T. Washington-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA)
