March 26, 2025: Jesup, GA 31545 The Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA) baseball trounced the visiting Glynn Academy Terrors (Brunswick, GA), 13-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they host New Hampstead for a AAAA Region 1 challenge on Thursday, March 27. Wayne County will clash with a Phoenix team coming off a 21-0 league loss to Wayne County (Jesup, GA). The Phoenix record now stands at 5-8.
With the defeat, Glynn Academy drops to 14-8 on the year. The Terrors host Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Toombs County won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA)
