Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD), 17-11 in a league match.

With the triumph, Howard advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Hammond (Columbia, MD) to battle the Golden Bears in a Howard County match on Thursday, March 27. The Golden Bears come into the match with a record of 0-1.

The now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakland Mills for a Howard County match on Friday, March 28. Marriotts Ridge will battle a Scorpions squad coming off a 19-1 league loss to Atholton (Columbia, MD). The Scorpions record now stands at 0-1.
