North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Apex drops to Athens Drive
March 26, 2025: Apex, NC 27502 Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) followers exited the stadium satisfied Wednesday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Apex Cougars (Apex, NC), 8-2 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Athens Drive advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC) to play the Crusaders in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 8. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 2-0. Cardinal Gibbons won 10-4 in their recent non-league game against Millbrook (Raleigh, NC)
The Cougars now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Hope for a game on Friday, March 28. Apex will play a Falcons team coming off a 8-1 non-league win over St. Mary's (Raleigh, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.
