The Independence lacrosse squad scored 15 points and limited the visiting Patriot Pioneers to 14 in the non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Freedom for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28. Independence will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 19-7 non-league loss to Lightridge (Aldie, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
