March 26, 2025: Houma, LA 70363 The A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA) softball routed the visiting Cohen Green Hornets (New Orleans, LA), 19-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Patriots now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to E.D. White for a 4A District 8 outing on Thursday, March 27. A.J. Ellender will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Assumption (Napoleonville, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-8.
With the loss, Cohen moves to 0-5 on the season. The Green hornets host Abramson (New Orleans, LA) to encounter the Commodores in a non-league outing on Monday, March 31. The Commodores come into the outing with a record of 0-4.
