Wisconsin High School Softball - Elizabethton bounces Stoughton
March 26, 2025: Stoughton, WI 53589 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones softball team scored a tight 13-6 victory over the Stoughton Vikings.
The Fighting Cyclones (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Tennessee (Bristol, TN). The Vikings go into the 3A District 1 match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, Tennessee tipped Cloudland (Roan Mountain, TN), 6-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the McFarland Spartans (McFarland, WI) in a Badger - Small match, on Thursday, April 3. Stoughton will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans go into the match with a 0-1 record after their 18-4 non-league loss to Sun Prairie West (Sun Prairie, WI).
