Ohio High School Softball - Riverside can't get by South Williamsport
March 26, 2025: Painesville, OH 44077 The South Williamsport Mountaineers edged the host Riverside Beavers softball squad by a count of 9-8 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Mountaineers play the Grove City Greyhounds (Grove City, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 27. South Williamsport will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 18-1 non-league win over St. Hubert Catholic for Girls (Philadelphia, PA).
The Beavers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Westerville Central (Westerville, OH). The Warhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Westerville Central edged Cabell Midland (Ona, WV), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
