Louisiana High School Baseball - Central gets by Central Catholic
Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Central upgrades its record to 7-15 on the season. The Wildcats host Jesuit (New Orleans, LA) to battle the Bluejays in a non-league test on Saturday, March 31. The Bluejays go into the game with a record of 17-6.
The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their game against Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA). The go into the 1A District 8 game with a 9-9 record. In their last game, Ascension Episcopal by Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA), 4-0, in a league game.
