In Monday's non-league challenge, the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) baseball squad the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), by a final score of 6-1.

With the win, South Stokes upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Sauras host East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to battle the Cardinals in a Northwest 1A challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. East Wilkes lost 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Elkin (Elkin, NC)

With the defeat, Surry Central falls to 6-6 on the season. The Golden eagles travel to Elkin (Elkin, NC) to battle the Buckin' Elks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 29.
