Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 9-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Rockets travel to St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL) to battle the Fighting Saints in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 28. The Fighting Saints come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Metea Valley falls to 0-1 on the season.
