The Del Norte Nighthawks routed the visiting Carlsbad Lancers softball squad by a final score of 16-0 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Nighthawks (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Highlanders go into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Helix notched a victory over San Marcos (San Marcos, CA), 17-8, in a non-league battle.
