March 27, 2023: Oakman, AL 35579 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Oakman Wildcats (Oakman, AL) and the visiting Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL), saw Oakman's softball squad achieve victory over Decatur by a count of 17-6.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dora for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 28. Oakman will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Cordova (Cordova, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Decatur falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to James Clemens (Madison, AL) to face the Jets in a non-league match on Monday, April 10. The Jets enter the match with a record of 5-10.
