March 27, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87110 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), saw Sandia's baseball squad beat St. Pius X by a margin of 10-0.
Coming up next, the Matadors play the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 1. Sandia will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
The Sartans now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Volcano Vista for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 30. St. Pius X will play a Hawks squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
