Ohio High School Softball - Barnesville bounces Shadyside
March 27, 2024: Barnesville, OH 43713 Barnesville Shamrocks (Barnesville, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Shadyside Tigers (Shadyside, OH), 9-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Shamrocks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buckeye Trail for a Ohio Valley Athletic AAA challenge on Thursday, March 28. Barnesville will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Union Local (Belmont, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Shadyside falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Caldwell (Caldwell, OH) to battle the Redskins in a Pioneer Valley challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Caldwell won 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Frontier (New Matamoras, OH)
